Great Britain LM4-

(str)James Clarke, Paul Mattick, James Lindsay-Fynn and Richard Chambers won at Lucerne and were second in the Amsterdam World Cup stop. The light men's four is usually one of the closest finals and this year will be no different.


U.S. M2- and LM2-

The men's lightweight and heavyweight pairs took to the course in the morning for a couple laps before the rest of the international crew arrived.

On May 8, 2007 I woke up at 4:45 a.m. in a stew of turmoil, sweaty sheets and a hole in my gut akin to coffee on an empty stomach. I didn’t even try to go back to sleep; this was the third morning in a row I woke up before 5:00 a.m. and each morning I wasted time lying in bed, hoping sleep might come over me again.
